How to Use (Sample Preparation + Testing)
1. Option 1 – Standard Enrichment Method
Mix 25g/mL sample with 225mL sterile saline (1:10 dilution).
2. Inoculate 1mL into 4mL of O157 Enrichment Broth.
3. Incubate at 37°C for 18–24 hours (shaking at 250 rpm recommended).
Option 2 – Modified EC Broth Method (mEC+n)
1. Same as above, but use modified EC broth instead of standard enrichment broth.
2. Incubate at 37°C for 18–24 hours.
Testing Steps
1. Bring sample and cassette to room temperature (20–40°C).
2. Add 5–6 drops (~100μL) of enriched sample to the test cassette.
3. Read results within 10–15 minutes.
