FSTest Nitrofurantoin Metabolite(AHD) Rapid Test Kit – Fast, Reliable, and Cost-Effective On-Site Screening
The FSTest Nitrofurantoin Metabolite(AHD) Rapid Test Kit (lateral flow) is designed for quick and easy detection of Nitrofurantoin Metabolite (AHD) residues in in meat, seafood and aquatic product such as fish, shrimp, shellfish, pork, chicken and egg. This user-friendly test kit provides fast results within 5-8 minutes, making it ideal for on-site screening without the need for specialized equipment.
Key Features & Benefits:
✔ Fast Results – Get accurate detection in just 5-8 minutes.
✔ Easy to Use – No professional training required, simple step-by-step operation.
✔ High Sensitivity – Detection limit of 0.5ppb, ensuring precise results.
✔ Cost-Effective – Eliminates the need for expensive lab equipment, saving time and costs.
Applications:
This test kit is specially designed to detect Nitrofurantoin Metabolite (AHD) residues in in meat, seafood and aquatic product such as fish, shrimp, shellfish, pork, chicken and egg, ensuring food safety compliance.
Testing Principle:
The kit is based on a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatography assay. The test strip contains a control line (C) and a test line (T). When the sample is applied, it reacts with pre-coated recombinant antigens. The color intensity of the T-line is inversely proportional to the Nitrofurantoin Metabolite (AHD) concentration. The presence of a C-line indicates a valid test result.
How to Use:
1️⃣ Sample Preparation – Follow the user manual for sample extraction and preparation.
2️⃣ Test Procedure:
2.1. Remove the test cassette from its package and place it on a flat surface.
2.2. Pipette 100μL of the prepared sample into a microwell, mix 3-5 times, and let it stand for 3 minutes.
2.3. Transfer the entire solution into the sample well of the test cassette.

2.4. Read results within 5-8 minutes (results after 8 minutes are invalid).

Important Notes:
⚠ The test cassette should be used at a temperature of 20-40℃.
⚠ Use within 1 hour after opening to avoid moisture interference.
⚠ For qualitative testing only.
⚠ Single-use only – do not reuse test cassettes.
Storage Conditions:
Store the kit sealed at 4-30℃ in a cool and dry place. Do not freeze. The product has a 12-month shelf life.
By using the FSTest Nitrofurantoin Metabolite (AHD) Rapid Test Kit, you can quickly and accurately detect Nitrofurantoin Metabolite (AHD) residues in food, ensuring safety and compliance while protecting consumers’ health.
