FSTest Listeria monocytogenes Rapid Test Kit – Fast, On-Site Detection in 10 Minutes

The FSTest Listeria monocytogenes Rapid Test Kit is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay designed for the qualitative detection of L. monocytogenes in food and environmental samples.   Delivering clear results within 10–15 minutes after enrichment, this kit enables fast and effective screening for one of the most dangerous foodborne pathogens.

With a detection limit suitable for critical contamination control and no cross-reactivity with other bacteria such as Salmonella or E. coli, this rapid test is ideal for use in food safety monitoring, production quality assurance, and regulatory compliance programs.

Key Features & Benefits

✔ Ultra-Fast Results – Visual readout in 10–15 minutes post-enrichment.

✔ High Sensitivity – Detects low levels of Listeria monocytogenes in complex food matrices.

✔ Easy-to-Use – No specialized equipment required—just add, wait, and read.

✔ Wide Sample Compatibility – Suitable for testing water, dairy, beverages, meat, seafood, and more.

✔ Reliable & Specific – No cross-reactivity with other common pathogens (e.g., Salmonella, Shigella, E. coli).

✔ Portable & Field-Ready – Ideal for on-site pathogen screening and inspection use.

✔ Long Shelf Life – Stable for 18 months at 2–25°C, no need for cold chain in storage.

Applications

This Listeria rapid detection kit is ideal for:

✅ Dairy Plants

✅ Meat & Poultry Processors

✅ Seafood Factories

✅ Fresh Produce Facilities

✅ Beverage Bottlers

✅ Food Production Lines

How It Works: Simple & Streamlined Workflow

✅ Option 1 – Rapid Enrichment Method

1. Mix 25g/mL sample with 225mL sterile saline (1:10 dilution).

2. Inoculate 1mL of homogenate into 4mL LM Enrichment Broth.

3. Incubate at 37°C for 24 hours (shaking at 250 rpm recommended).

4. Mix 5 drops of culture with 5 drops of diluent — ready to test.

✅ Option 2 – Conventional Enrichment Method

1. Dilute sample in half-Fraser broth (1:10) and incubate 18–24h.

2. Transfer 0.1mL into 10mL Fraser broth, incubate another 18–24h.

3. Mix 5 drops of culture with 5 drops of diluent.

✅ Test Procedure

1. Allow test cassette and sample to reach room temperature (20–40°C).

2. Pipette 5–6 drops (~100μL) into sample well.

3. Read result within 10-15 minutes.
