ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

Refrigeration Temperature Monitor

SpotCheck reversible temperature indicators (Liquid Crystal Monitor) provide quick and clear visual signal of the current temperature experienced by an object. As the temperature increases the large indicator circle will transition from blue to green to a brownish red. This color change is reversible, so the indicator circle will move backward through these same colors with a temperature decrease.

2-8°C (Blue below 2°C, Green between 2-8°C, and Red above 8°C)
This is a typical range for refrigerated products (e.g., pharmaceuticals that must be refrigerated but not frozen to maintain efficacy).

Use at Room Temperature: Many medications, blood, and some diagnostic reagents must be warmed to room temperature before use. SpotCheck provides a mechanism to quickly determine when a product has reached the room temperature target range.
• Validation of Storage Conditions: Many pharmaceutical products must be stored between 2-8°C. Use of this technology could provide quick visual indication that these products were within that target range in the cooler or refrigerator where they are stored.
• Phase Change Packaging Materials (used for shipping refrigerated or frozen products): Shippers can quickly determine if a gel pack or molded plastic ice pack must be put into a cooler/freezer or if it can be used again without the need for re-cooling.
